What is The Haven?
The Haven by Norwegian® is a hidden sanctuary at the top or aft of select NCL ships, home to NCL's most luxurious, spacious accommodations. Accessible only by private keycard, Haven guests enjoy a private sanctuary with premium amenities, dining, and white-glove services, whilst maintaining access to all the Broadway-caliber entertainment and large-scale facilities of the main ship.
Exclusive Haven Onboard Areas
When you book a Haven suite, you gain exclusive access to a variety of private areas closed off to all other cruise guests:
- The Haven Courtyard: A private, retractable-roof courtyard featuring a pool, hot tubs, lounge beds, and deep cushioned seating. (Note: On Prima and Viva, this sundeck is relocated to the aft and features a stunning wake-facing infinity pool).
- The Haven Lounge: A cozy bar and social area serving complimentary coffee, snacks, and top-shelf custom cocktails in the evening.
- The Haven Restaurant: A private dining room serving high-end breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menus are completely separate from the main dining rooms and specialty restaurants, offering dishes like filet mignon and fresh sea bass at no extra charge.

Is it worth the premium price tag?
Haven suites are often double or triple the price of standard balcony staterooms. However, if you are looking for a luxury, intimate vacation experience but still want access to comedy shows, racetrack speedways, and waterparks, it is highly recommended.
Tip: Keep an eye on NCL's upgrade bidding program ("Advantage Upgrade"). If you book a standard balcony stateroom, you may receive an email allowing you to bid a custom amount to upgrade to a Haven suite. This can sometimes save you up to 50% compared to booking the suite directly!
