Understand how to earn loyalty points, loyalty tier levels, and exclusive discounts and rewards on Norwegian Cruise Line.
What is Latitudes Rewards?
Latitudes Rewards is Norwegian Cruise Line's passenger loyalty program. You are automatically enrolled after your first sailing with NCL. Membership grants points that accumulate over your cruising lifetime to unlock higher tiers, resulting in discounts, free internet minutes, specialty dinners, and priority boarding perks.
How to Earn Points
Points are calculated at the end of each cruise. The formulas are as follows:
- Base Points: Earn 1 point for every night you sail. (e.g., a 7-night cruise earns 7 points).
- Suite Upgrade: Earn 1 extra point per night when booking a Suite or Haven stateroom from the start. (Club Balcony suites do not qualify).
- Insider Offers: Earn 1 extra point per night when booking a cruise designated as a "Latitudes Insider Offer".

| Diamond | 350 - 699 points | Complimentary cabin upgrades, and high-end VIP party access. |
| Ambassador | 700+ points | A completely free 7-night cruise in a balcony stateroom (no points deducted!). |
Insider Tips
If you are close to hitting the next tier (e.g. you have 71 points and need 75 for Platinum), consider booking a cheap 4-night weekend getaway or a short repositioning cruise to cross the line before your next major cruise. Moving up to Platinum gets you free laundry and two specialty dinners, which adds significant value to all future cruises.
