Celebrity Solstice Class Guide
The award-winning fleet that defined premium modern luxury — real grass at sea, classic French dining at Murano, and the tranquil Solarium sanctuary.
The Solstice Class Fleet (5 Ships)
The Lawn Club: A Half-Acre of Real Live Grass
The signature design highlight of the Solstice Class is the Lawn Club, located on the top deck. It features a half-acre of real bentgrass, meticulously maintained by onboard groundskeepers. It is the perfect spot for casual relaxation, games, or dining under the stars:
- Lawn Games: Enjoy complimentary bocce, croquet, and putting greens on real turf.
- The Lawn Club Grill: An interactive outdoor specialty grill restaurant where you can cook alongside Celebrity chefs (available on Silhouette and Reflection).
- The Alcoves: Private cabanas overlooking the lawn that can be rented for the day, featuring premium lounge chairs and dedicated attendant service.
- Sunset Bar: Located at the aft of the Lawn Club, offering stunning wake views and refreshing cocktails in a chic garden environment.
Signature Onboard Venues & Amenities
Solstice-class ships are renowned for their elegant layout, high ceilings, and light-filled spaces. Key signature venues include:
- The Solarium: An adults-only, glass-enclosed indoor pool sanctuary featuring a lap pool, hot tubs, and comfortable padded loungers.
- The Hot Glass Show: A unique live glassblowing show run in partnership with the Corning Museum of Glass (available on Solstice, Equinox, and Eclipse; replaced by the Lawn Club Grill/Alcoves on later ships).
- Sky Observation Lounge: A massive lounge at the front of the top deck with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering 270-degree views during the day and transforming into a lively dance club at night.
- Grand Foyer & Library: A central multi-story atrium featuring a live suspended tree, glass elevators, and elegant library niches.

The 'Solsticization' of the Fleet
The Solstice Class was so successful that Celebrity ran a fleet-wide renovation program (called "Solsticization") to bring signature Solstice-class venues — including the Martini Bar, Café al Bacio, and Tuscan Grille — to their older Millennium-class ships (Millennium, Infinity, Summit, Constellation), ensuring a consistent premium experience across their entire ocean fleet.
